Some of the biggest OEMs in the aerospace and electric aviation sectors will be giving updates about their current developments in an AIRTEC Munich webinar this Thursday.
The international B2B trade fair looks set to go ahead as a three-day event from October 12th to 14th, and the webinar will also hear how governments are supporting sustainable electric aviation initiatives around the world.
Chaired by Darrell Swanson of Swanson Aviation Consultancy, OEMs will give six-minute updates on their activities, followed by presentations from Sustainable Aviation (SA) and the Independent Commission on Civil Aviation Noise (ICCAN).
Confirmed OEM speakers include CEO of Vertical Aerospace, Michael Cervenka, Thomas Martin, Business Development and Market Strategy at Joby Aviation, Christian Bauer, CCO at Volocopter, Oliver Walker-Jones at Lilium, Olaf Otto, Director of Customer Business at Rolls-Royce, and CEO of Jaunt Air Mobility, Kaydon Stanzione.
Also on the day will be presentations from UK Research and Innovation and its Future Flight Challenge, NASA, US Air Force’s Agility Prime, Canadian Air Mobility and the Bavarian Aviation Cluster. These will be on government programmes which are supporting sustainable electric aviation.
These speakers are Gary Cutts, Challenge Director for the Future Flight Challenge at UK Research and Innovation, Nathan Diller, Team Lead for Agility Prime and Assistant Director of Aeronautics at the White House Office of Science and Technology, Star Ginn, AAM National Campaign Lead at NASA, and JR Hammond, CEO and Founder of Canadian Air Mobility. Peter Schwarz, Managing Director of bavARIA e.v. is yet to be confirmed.
Following these second round of presentations, a panel session which includes the OEMs, Sustainable Aviation and the Independent Commission for Civil Aviation Noise, will ask questions of the government agencies on their programmes.
