Some of the biggest OEMs in the aero­space and elec­tric avi­a­tion sec­tors will be giv­ing updates about their cur­rent devel­op­ments in an AIRTEC Munich webi­nar this Thurs­day.

The inter­na­tion­al B2B trade fair looks set to go ahead as a three-day event from Octo­ber 12th to 14th, and the webi­nar will also hear how gov­ern­ments are sup­port­ing sus­tain­able elec­tric avi­a­tion ini­tia­tives around the world.

Chaired by Dar­rell Swan­son of Swan­son Avi­a­tion Con­sul­tan­cy, OEMs will give six-minute updates on their activ­i­ties, fol­lowed by pre­sen­ta­tions from Sus­tain­able Avi­a­tion (SA) and the Inde­pen­dent Com­mis­sion on Civ­il Avi­a­tion Noise (ICCAN).

Con­firmed OEM speak­ers include CEO of Ver­ti­cal Aero­space, Michael Cer­ven­ka, Thomas Mar­tin, Busi­ness Devel­op­ment and Mar­ket Strat­e­gy at Joby Avi­a­tion, Chris­t­ian Bauer, CCO at Volo­copter, Oliv­er Walk­er-Jones at Lil­i­um, Olaf Otto, Direc­tor of Cus­tomer Busi­ness at Rolls-Royce, and CEO of Jaunt Air Mobil­i­ty, Kay­don Stanzione.

Also on the day will be pre­sen­ta­tions from UK Research and Inno­va­tion and its Future Flight Chal­lenge, NASA, US Air Force’s Agili­ty Prime, Cana­di­an Air Mobil­i­ty and the Bavar­i­an Avi­a­tion Clus­ter. These will be on gov­ern­ment pro­grammes which are sup­port­ing sus­tain­able elec­tric avi­a­tion.

These speak­ers are Gary Cutts, Chal­lenge Direc­tor for the Future Flight Chal­lenge at UK Research and Inno­va­tion, Nathan Diller, Team Lead for Agili­ty Prime and Assis­tant Direc­tor of Aero­nau­tics at the White House Office of Sci­ence and Tech­nol­o­gy, Star Ginn, AAM Nation­al Cam­paign Lead at NASA, and JR Ham­mond, CEO and Founder of Cana­di­an Air Mobil­i­ty. Peter Schwarz, Man­ag­ing Direc­tor of bavARIA e.v. is yet to be con­firmed.

Fol­low­ing these sec­ond round of pre­sen­ta­tions, a pan­el ses­sion which includes the OEMs, Sus­tain­able Avi­a­tion and the Inde­pen­dent Com­mis­sion for Civ­il Avi­a­tion Noise, will ask ques­tions of the gov­ern­ment agen­cies on their pro­grammes.
