Transcend Air talks more about its Vy 400 aircraft and commuter service in latest podcast

The next episode in our podcast series about the eVTOL and urban air mobility markets is now live, and this week’s guests are Greg Bruell and Peter Schmidt from Transcend Air.

Greg is CEO of the company, while Peter is Chief Operating Officer, and the pair talked more about the background behind setting up the business and its Vy 400 aircraft. A new airline service between Boston and Manhattan is to launch in 2025.

The company has said its six-seated concept will also provide a faster, more affordable service than both helicopters or conventional aircraft, and without the need for airports. A journey from New York to Boston would take just 36 minutes.
