Darrell Swanson and Julian Carlson give their views on eVTOL infrastructure after joint collaboration

This week’s pod­cast episode focus­es on a key top­ic in the indus­try — land­ing infra­struc­ture. Our guest speak­ers were Dar­rell Swan­son of Swan­son Avi­a­tion Con­sul­tan­cy and Julian Carl­son, Direc­tor of Pascall+Watson, an award-win­ning inter­na­tion­al design prac­tice.

They have col­lab­o­rat­ed on a project to devel­op the next gen­er­a­tion of mobil­i­ty, and the pair talk in more detail about this, which includes the con­cept of an inter­change­able plaza, and what chal­lenges need to be solved to achieve this.

Dar­rell also elab­o­rates more on a study he did about a ver­ti­port con­cept at Water­loo Rail­way Sta­tion in Lon­don, UK.
