Daniel Avdagič of AV Living Lab talks about its Global UAM Challenge and the future of mobility in cities

In this week’s pod­cast, we spoke to Daniel Avdag­ič, Man­ag­ing Direc­tor of AV Liv­ing Lab, the world’s biggest city lab for cre­at­ing human-cen­tric future mobil­i­ty solu­tions.

Togeth­er with Nervtech — a Sloven­ian-based R&D firm, it has launched the Arch Glob­al UAM Chal­lenge, where cities can win a VTOL sim­u­la­tor and use it to gain knowl­edge of urban air mobil­i­ty oper­a­tions ahead of it inte­grat­ing it into their air­space.

As well as telling more about the chal­lenge and what he hopes it can offer cities look­ing to imple­ment eVTOL air­craft oper­a­tions one day, Daniel also talks of Slove­ni­a’s rich aero­space his­to­ry and where he sees the indus­try going in the next five to 10 years.
