Tom Turner of Carlisle Interconnect Technologies explains how its expertise can bring value to the eVTOL aircraft market

In this episode, we were delight­ed to be joined by Tom Turn­er, Prod­uct Man­ag­er at Carlisle Inter­con­nect Tech­nolo­gies.

The com­pa­ny is one the world’s biggest man­u­fac­tur­ers of high-per­for­mance wire and cable, includ­ing opti­cal fiber, and announced last year that it will be offer­ing its tech­nolo­gies to the emerg­ing advanced air mobil­i­ty mar­ket.

Tom talks about how CarlisleIT can bring added val­ue to the grow­ing eVTOL space, with the com­pa­ny hav­ing more than 80 years’ expe­ri­ence. He talks about the var­i­ous prod­ucts Carlisle has to offer, and also expands on his talk at the Ver­ti­cal Flight Soci­ety’s VTOL Sym­po­sium, which was about how Par­tial Dis­charge Phe­nom­e­non can stall an eVTOL project.
