eVTOL Insights Podcast: Saul Tarazona of eJet Aerospace talks about its SMAPAD propulsion and eVTOL aircraft

In this episode, we were delight­ed to be joined by Saul Tara­zona, CEO of eJet Aero­space.

The com­pa­ny owns GJet, an elec­tric air­craft brand which has spent 20 years in the research and devel­op­ment, design and test­ing of two eVTOL air­craft designs, Æón and Kóan.

GJet inven­tor Ray­mond Fran­cois Aubourg is a flu­id dynam­ics PhD and devel­oped SMAPAD, an elec­tric propul­sion sys­tem that gen­er­ates cold jet propul­sion. The com­pa­ny has claimed it out­per­forms most of the tra­di­tion­al propul­sion sys­tems using fos­sil fuels.

Saul talks to us about the tech­nol­o­gy behind this form of propul­sion, the ben­e­fits it can offer and also goes into detail about Æón and Kóan, out­lin­ing the busi­ness plan over the next few years.
