eVTOL Insights Podcast: Yun-yuan Tay of Skyports talks about potential for eVTOL air taxis in Asia-Pacific region

In this week’s pod­cast episode, we were delight­ed to wel­come Sky­ports’ Head of Asia Pacif­ic, Yun-yuan Tay.

With more than ten years of expe­ri­ence in the avi­a­tion and aero­space sec­tors, Yun is also a cer­ti­fied FAA pri­vate pilot with more than 200 hours record­ed. He told us more about how the region is prepar­ing for this excit­ing era of avi­a­tion and what Sky­ports is doing to help the cities and coun­tries where the first eVTOL air taxi ser­vices could launch first.

He also gives his insight into what chal­lenges the indus­try cur­rent­ly faces when it comes to deploy­ing these ser­vices, and talks more about the infra­struc­ture side and the tech­nol­o­gy behind Sky­ports’ Volo­Port design.
