Electro.aero and the Community Air Mobility Initiative (CAMI) to present at eVTOL Insights’ next virtual networking event

eVTOL Insights’ next virtual networking event will take place on Friday, October 29th, and we’re delighted to confirm Electro.aero and the Community Air Mobility Initiative (CAMI) as our next two speakers.

The virtual event has been a regular meeting place for industry professionals to network and connect during the COVID-19 pandemic, and is from 4pm‑5.30pm BST on the final Friday of each month.

This month we’ll be hearing from Electro.aero’s Josh Portlock, who is co-founder and CTO. He will be talking about its AS6968 standard and portfolio of chargers for electric aircraft.

Founded in 2016, Electro.aero describes itself as the world leaders in aircraft charging. It was the world’s first commercial operator of electric aircraft, beginning in 2018, and set multiple world records for the operation of production electric aircraft.

The company also built and flew our own electric microlight technology demonstrator in 2020.

While Yolanka Wulff, CAMI’s co-founder and Executive Director, will be talking more about its work to educate and support communities and local decision makers in the responsible integration of the third dimension to meet our daily transportation needs and serve the public good.

The format will start with 30 minutes of networking, before we have two 15-minute presentations with a short Q&A for each. Another 30 minutes of networking will then take place before the event finishes.

Previous attendees work for companies such as Horizon Aircraft, the Vertical Flight Society, Vertical Aerospace, Archer Aviation, LuftCar, Varon Vehicles, Solvay, BETA Technologies, Wisk and Flight Crowd.

If you or your company is interested in presenting at a future virtual networking event, then we’d love to hear from you. You can email editor Jason Pritchard at editorial@evtolinsights.com
