Less than a week until eVTOL Insights’ free virtual networking event, with Electro.aero and CAMI joining as guest speakers

With less than a week to go until our next vir­tu­al net­work­ing event, there’s still time to reg­is­ter your place and con­nect face-to-face with indus­try pro­fes­sion­als across the world free of charge.

Held on the final Fri­day of every month, the 90-minute ses­sion will be on Octo­ber 29th from 4pm‑5.30pm BST and fea­tures two 30-minute net­work­ing blocks and two 15-minute pre­sen­ta­tions. This month, our guest speak­ers will be Josh Port­lock of Electro.aero and Yolan­ka Wulff of the Com­mu­ni­ty Air Mobil­i­ty Ini­tia­tive (CAMI).

Yolan­ka is an expe­ri­enced Exec­u­tive and Pro­gram Direc­tor with mis­sion-dri­ven organ­i­sa­tions. With an excel­lent abil­i­ty to cre­ate and exe­cute on a strate­gic vision, solve prob­lems cre­ative­ly, medi­ate stake­hold­er dif­fer­ences col­lab­o­ra­tive­ly, and com­mu­ni­cate effec­tive­ly.

She is a leader and a bridge builder with a pas­sion for the human effort to make our world sus­tain­able, and also Exec­u­tive Direc­tor of the CAFE Sym­po­sium, which has been a reg­u­lar event in the advanced air mobil­i­ty indus­try cal­en­dar for 15 years.

While Josh has more than a dozen years of expe­ri­ence devel­op­ing and com­mer­cial­is­ing elec­tric propul­sion and autonomous sys­tems. He is an entre­pre­neur and robot­ics engi­neer who has spe­cialised in elec­tric propul­sion tech­nolo­gies.

He found­ed Electro.Aero to help safe­ly pro­pel the sus­tain­able avi­a­tion indus­try, through devel­op­ing and com­mer­cial­is­ing elec­tric charg­ing sys­tems for air­craft devel­op­ment part­ners, includ­ing elec­tri­cal man­age­ment sys­tems and oth­er propul­sion sub-sys­tems. Josh also found­ed the SAE AE-7D com­mit­tee for air­craft charg­ing stan­dards in 2018 and con­tin­ues to con­tribute to the devel­op­ment of these stan­dards as the Com­mit­tee Chair.
