Dufour Aerospace and AUTOFLUG to present at next eVTOL Insights’ virtual networking event — registration now open

Following last Friday’s successful virtual networking event, registration is now open for eVTOL Insights’ November’s event with our next speakers already confirmed.

Sascha Hardegger, Chief Commercial Officer at Dufour Aerospace and Michael Paschold, Key Account Manager for Cabin Solutions at AUTOFLUG will be our next presenters at the session, which is on Friday, November 26th from 4pm‑5.30pm BST.

As Chief Commercial Officer at Dufour, Sascha’s work builds on his many years of experience in helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS) and Search and Rescue at Swiss Air-Rescue Rega.

At Rega, he led in various capacities including helicopter operations (12 bases and operations centre), communications and innovation. Notably, he launched Rega’s drone programme. He is an aviation enthusiast with time spent flying planes, gliders, paragliders, RC-models, and drones.

Dufour Aerospace has a strong pedigree in a real-world application of eVTOL and is working towards a tilt-wing aircraft, the Aero3, which combines the best features of helicopters and airplanes. The team is also building an unmanned platform, called the Aero2, for which it has flown prototypes.

While AUTOFLUG has been a leading provider of products and services that focus on the rescue and safety of people since the early days of aviation. Michael is the company’s expert on its FLYWEIGHT model of aviation seating and will be sharing more developments.

As a globally recognised supplier and service partner for the international aviation industry and defense technology, it develops, manufactures and maintains a wide range of textile, mechanical and electronic components and systems. AUTOFLUG has decades of experience and know-how in the areas of rescue and safety, ergonomics, textiles, mechanics, precision mechanics, electronics, software, and measurement and control technology

As always, the virtual networking event — known as Final Friday — is free to attend and an informal way to finish the end of a working week by networking and connecting with industry professionals located all over the world. Click here to reserve your place.
