eVTOL Insights is excit­ed to reveal its first ever indus­try con­fer­ence in Lon­don, which will fea­ture speak­ers from some of the biggest com­pa­nies in the eVTOL air­craft and urban air mobil­i­ty mar­kets.

The event will take place from Tues­day, Jan­u­ary 11th to Wednes­day Jan­u­ary 12th, 2022 at the Leonar­do Roy­al Hotel in Tow­er Bridge, sit­u­at­ed near the icon­ic Tow­er of Lon­don. 

Com­pa­nies which have con­firmed to attend as speak­ers include glob­al aero­space and tech­nol­o­gy com­pa­ny Ver­ti­cal Aero­space, ver­ti­port devel­op­er and drone deliv­ery provider Sky­ports, urban air mobil­i­ty com­mu­ni­ty Flight Crowd, UK Research and Inno­va­tion and design, engi­neer­ing and archi­tec­tur­al design firm Atkins. 

Air­speed­er, the com­pa­ny behind EXA, its first elec­tric fly­ing car rac­ing sea­son, Bell­wether Indus­tries and eVTOL and drone insur­ance spe­cial­ist Flock will also be attend­ing and com­plet­ing the ini­tial line-up is elec­tric avi­a­tion expert Dar­rell Swan­son, who also con­tributes to NASA and the Com­mu­ni­ty Air Mobil­i­ty Ini­tia­tive (CAMI). More com­pa­nies will be announced soon.

Jason Pritchard, eVTOL Insights’ Edi­tor, said: “We’ve been wait­ing a long time to host our first con­fer­ence and it’s great to final­ly be in a posi­tion to do so. The mar­ket’s momen­tum has con­tin­ued to accel­er­ate this year and our event in Lon­don is a per­fect oppor­tu­ni­ty to start 2022 by con­tin­u­ing key con­ver­sa­tions with some of the indus­try’s most influ­en­tial thought lead­ers.”

Tick­ets cost £399 each and as well as the full con­fer­ence, guests will be invit­ed to an exclu­sive net­work­ing ses­sion in the hotel’s bar the day before, on Tues­day, Jan­u­ary 11th. The evening will start at 7pm. 

Wednes­day’s agen­da — which will start from 9am — 4.30pm and includes refresh­ments through­out — will fea­ture a mix of pre­sen­ta­tions and pan­el dis­cus­sions about bat­tery devel­op­ment, cer­ti­fi­ca­tion, reg­u­la­tions, pub­lic accep­tance and land­ing infra­struc­ture. There will also be a focus on indus­try first movers and what the future holds for this grow­ing mar­ket. 

The con­fer­ence will con­clude with anoth­er evening of drinks in the hotel’s bar, pro­vid­ing an infor­mal net­work­ing oppor­tu­ni­ty to make pro­fes­sion­al con­nec­tions.

The Leonar­do Roy­al in Tow­er Bridge has received recog­ni­tion from ‘Vis­itBri­tain’ and the ‘World Trav­el & Tourism Coun­cil’ because it has adopt­ed all of the reopen­ing guid­ance put for­ward by ‘Pub­lic Health Eng­land’ and glob­al stan­dard­ised pro­to­cols. eVTOL Insights wants to reas­sure guests that masks are wel­come for those who want to wear them.
