eVTOL Insights Podcast: Diana Siegel of Electra.aero offers insights into its eSTOL technology and reflects on last 12 months

In this latest podcast episode, which focuses on the growing eVTOL aircraft and urban air mobility markets, we were delighted to be joined by Diana Siegel, Head of Strategy at Electra.aero.

Electra.aero is a next-gen aerospace company leading the way in sustainable urban and regional mobility. The company is building clean, hybrid-electric, ultra-short takeoff and landing (eSTOL) airplanes that fly people and cargo quieter, further, and more affordably.

Diana reflects on the last 12 months for Electra, while also telling us what she thought were the main insights for the industry as a whole.

We talk about the company’s electric short take-off and landing (eSTOL) aircraft, its numerous partnerships with companies such as Bristow Group, Flapper and Skyportz, and Diana also reveals some exciting investment news!

Electra’s technology delivers 2.5x the payload and 10X longer range with 70 per cent lower operating costs than vertical takeoff alternatives with much less certification risk, proving that climate-friendly technology can also be cost-effective.
