Bumper schedule planned for third Global Urban & Advanced Air Summit (GUAAS) at Farnborough from March 2nd to 3rd

There’s more than one week to go until the third Glob­al Urban & Advanced Air Sum­mit (GUAAS), which takes place at Farn­bor­ough’s Inter­na­tion­al Exhi­bi­tion and Con­fer­ence Cen­tre in the UK from March 2nd to 3rd.

The indus­try is start­ing to slow­ly return to host­ing in-per­son events, and GUAAS will once again host an inter­na­tion­al audi­ence con­sist­ing of reg­u­la­tors, inno­va­tors, gov­ern­ment and investors in one place — to allow for net­work­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties, tech­no­log­i­cal demon­stra­tions and knowl­edge shar­ing. Its first event in 2019 brought togeth­er near­ly 250 vis­i­tors, with more than 50 speak­ers and 14 exhibitors.

Brand new for GUAAS 2022, the Cities & Regions Forum, in part­ner­ship with the SmartC­i­tiesWorld and World Eco­nom­ic Forum (WEF), is a world first oppor­tu­ni­ty to bring pol­i­cy­mak­ers togeth­er from around the world to dis­cuss how to imple­ment effi­cient and effec­tive mobil­i­ty in rur­al, region­al and urban areas.

Farn­bor­ough is rich in avi­a­tion his­to­ry with the very first pow­ered flight in 1908 by Samuel Cody and has hosed the world-famous Farn­bor­ough Inter­na­tion­al Air­show since 1948. For decades, Farn­bor­ough has show­cased many pio­neer­ing tri­umphs in aero­space, which is why it is the home of British Avi­a­tion.
