Flight Crowd to have presence at Fully Charged LIVE as it showcases Urban Air Mobility’s potential to thousands of attendees
Flight Crowd will help showcase the exciting developments in the eVTOL aircraft and urban air mobility markets to the UK public next month, after announcing a partnership with Robert Llewelyn’s Fully Charged LIVE — one of the world’s biggest clean energy and electric vehicle shows.
More than 50 theatre sessions are scheduled for the event, which is at Farnborough International from April 29th to May 1st. Flight Crowd will be curating a Future Flight Zone with lots of workshops and sessions for generations young and old to get an insight into eVTOL aircraft and urban air mobility markets.
The startup joined a panel entitled ‘When will Electric Flight come into land?’, which attracted strong public interest. Previous events have attracted more than 16,000 visitors across a long weekend, and with this year adding electric aerial mobility to its line-up, it represents an excellent opportunity to bring the benefits of this new era of aviation to more people.
Mariya Tarabanovska, co-founder of Flight Crowd, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Fully Charged to introduce the UK public to the aerial mobility industry. Flight Crowd is committed to supporting the delivery of urban air mobility at scale. With this, we see the need to engage with the global community, which will ultimately determine the success of this new mobility ecosystem.
“Fully Charged LIVE will be one of the first opportunities for tens of thousands of UK citizens to hear and see the industry’s potential and progress over the last decade. We hope to demonstrate to electric mobility and infrastructure fans and professionals, how electric flight is integral to the future of sustainable multimodal communities worldwide.”
Across the three days, Fully Charged LIVE will showcase numerous indoor and outdoor exhibits and attractions, including Electric Vehicles and Clean Energy technology. The sessions take place across two stages, with other areas of interest including Home Energy Advice, EV and Micro-Mobility test drives, Converted Classics Zone, Commercial Vehicle Zone, Fully Charged Business and Kidz Zone.
eVTOL Insights also spoke to Flight Crowd Director Robin Brownsell to get more insight about the impact an event like Fully Charged LIVE can have for Flight Crowd and the work it is doing to inform, educate and inspire the wider public about urban air mobility.
He said: “We’ve been getting great support and plaudits when we go to events and everyone loves what we’re doing. Flight Crowd is not-for-profit, so we’re also viewing this as an opportunity to say to the industry: ‘what we’re doing is of significant value to achieving social acceptance, so please support us.’
“This [Urban Air Mobility] is an industry of the future. Through the STEM workshops, physical and digital exhibits that we will be bringing along with our industry partners we want to not only demonstrate the progress the industry has made, but also showcase to the public a variety of careers and ways to engage with the ecosystem.”
Dan Caesar, Joint CEO, added: “As the world’s no.1 channel for electric vehicles, our audience is fascinated by all future forms of transport. Interest in electric flight is especially high, and as Fully Charged LIVE is hosted at Farnborough, we want to help educate thousands of consumers about the exciting technologies that will come into land in the next few years. We have the perfect partner in Flight Crowd, and can’t wait to build the Future of Flight Zone together.”
