Talyn Air co-founder and CEO Jamie Gull introduces its unique eVTOL aircraft inspired by a 2‑stage rocket design
Our next podcast episode is live and we were delighted to welcome Jamie Gull, co-founder and CEO of Talyn Air.
Jamie worked at Scaled Composites designing prototype aircraft, and then was an engineer at SpaceX for over 5 years on the Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon. He graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering and is a private pilot.
During our conversation, he told us about the background behind setting up Talyn Air with fellow co-founder Evan Mucasey, what lessons he brought from SpaceX into this new company and Talyn’s aircraft, which is described as ‘a unique eVTOL aircraft inspired by the 2‑stage rocket design, with plans to fly cargo and passengers door-to-door between cities in half the time as traditional transportation’.
