Caryn Moore Lund is new vice president of public policy, regulatory and government affairs at Ferrovial Airports
Ferrovial Airports has appointed Caryn Moore Lund as vice president of public policy, regulatory and government affairs in Washington DC, where she will oversee government relations at the federal, state and local levels.
She previously served as the head of public affairs Americas for Lilium Aviation and had served in leadership roles with the US Department of Transportation and the US House of Representatives Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.
Ferrovial Vertiports CEO Kevin Cox commented: “Caryn’s depth of experience will serve us well as we continue to work with federal regulatory agencies, state officials, and local leaders and communities across the US and Europe.”
Ferrovial Vertiports 70 years of transportation infrastructure experience will help to vertiports networks in Europe and the US to support all-electric, zero-carbon eVTOL air transport services.

Ferrovial’s Vertiports will be intermodal centres integrated into the urban landscape that are adapted to the environment, reduce the acoustic impact, produce no emissions, and meet the highest energy efficiency standards through innovative design.
Ferrovial has 25 years of experience in investing, developing, constructing and operating 36 airports worldwide, including the US, Australia, the UK and Chile. It currently has four airports in the United Kingdom, with a 25% stake in Heathrow Airport and is its main shareholder and industrial partner, owning 50% of Glasgow, Aberdeen, and Southampton airports.
In June 2022, it acquired a stake in a consortium to design, build, and operate the New Terminal One at New York’s John F Kennedy International Airport in the US. Ferrovial Airports has also acquired 60% of Dalaman International Airport in Turkey from the YDA Group.
In August 2022, it appointed Craig Teasdale as its Vice President of Operations to position itself as one of the strongest teams in the industry.
In November 2021, Ferrovial Airports appointed Cox as CEO of its vertiports business to focus on the development of vertiport networks for the take-off, landing operation and maintenance of passenger services of electrical aircrafts.
