eVTOL Insights will once again be present at London’s MOVE 2023 event – the world’s number one tech mobility and start-up show.
Held at the ExCeL from June 21st – 22nd, MOVE returns to the UK for the fifth year to help promote and develop sustainable urban transport. Topics include electric vehicles, battery tech, vehicle charging, automotive supply chain, tech, data and innovation and smart cities.
To recognise the growing Advanced Air Mobility market, MOVE has created an Air + Water section which takes place only on June 21st. This year, it features feature presentations and panel discussions about Urban Air Mobility, infrastructure as well as the electric boat sector and autonomous drones.
eVTOL Insights’ Executive Editor Jason Pritchard has been invited to moderate a panel at 1.40pm, which is titled ‘Establishing the necessary infrastructure for personal urban air flight’. It will feature guest speakers Clem Newton-Brown, CEO of Australian infrastructure start-up Skyportz, and Sunil Budhdeo, Transport Innovation Manager at Coventry City Council.
Speaking about the opportunity, Jason said: “MOVE 2022 was a brilliant experience last year, with lots of fascinating presentations and discussions about the Advanced Air Mobility market. At eVTOL Insights, we have a unique insight into the excellent progress being made by companies in this space, so it’s another perfect opportunity to be a part of engaging conversations.”
The first panel discussion of the day in Air + Water will be at 12.20pm. It is entitled ‘Flight plan: Making the UAM Ambition a Reality’ and be moderated by Pamir Sevincel.
The panellists will be Haran Ben-Eliahou, Vice President of Israeli start-up Urban Aeronautics, Gary Gysin, who was formerly Wisk’s Chief Executive before retiring from the role earlier this year. The other panellist joining the discussion will be Andrew Chadwick, Aviation Technology Innovation Lead at Connected Places Catapult.
After Jason’s panel, Gysin will return to the stage to deliver a presentation entitled ‘How to release the potential of the river to reduce congestion in the city centre’. This will take place at 2.10pm. There is also a presentation on autonomous drones at 4.45pm, featuring Dragos Stanciu, CEO of Grayscale AI.
