EVFLY chooses Volatus Infrastructure as its exclusive charging station provider
Volatus Infrastructure has been named as the exclusive infrastructure and charging station provider for EVFLY’s global AAM projects.
Founded in 2021, Volatus Infrastructure, LLC is connecting communities to the future with best-
in-class eVTOL infrastructure technology to ensure society is ready for the future. Volatus offers three main eVTOL infrastructure designs, a vehicle agnostic charging station plus an app and maintenance
programs.
The company has already signed multiple agreements in the AAM industry, including one with Bellefonte Airport in Pennsylvania to build a public use, FAA-compliant vertiport with up to eight landing pads. It has also signed partnerships with eVTOL OEMs, including Eve Air Mobility and South Korean startup PLANA.
Grant Fisk, Volatus Infrastructure Co-Founder, said: “Volatus is excited to work with EVFLY to help continue building the foundation of the AAM industry and bring eVTOL to more corners of the globe. Collaboration is the key to success. We all bring an essential key element to the industry and need to work together to bring success forward.”
EVFLY was founded with a clear objective in mind: to make the aviation industry evolve. Like
the automotive industry, the aviation sector must constantly renew itself to meet the demands and
expectations of tomorrow.
This means moving towards a more flexible, safer, more cost- effective and more environmentally friendly approach to aviation. EVFLY is ready to participate in the transformation of the aviation industry and to revolutionise AAM with the development of eVTOL services.
EVFLY has also made some key announcements in recent months, including a ‘major commercial deal’ with eVTOL OEM AutoFlight which includes an order for 205 of its Prosperity aircraft. More recently, it released news about its work with FAST Group to provide flight simulators for EvFly pilots and customers.
Yannick Erbs, EVFLY Founder and CEO, said: “We are very excited and delighted to work together with Volatus. Their knowledge and expertise in the AAM industry reinforces our belief that we are making the best choice as their main objective is to provide the best tailor-made tools and infrastructure while incorporating the latest technologies for electric charging stations and app support.”
