PODCAST: Nicolas Brieger of the Drone & Vertical Mobility Academy
Our next podcast is live! This week we were joined by Nicolas Brieger, who is Head of the Drone & Vertical Mobility Academy — a FIA Fund project.
Nicolas has long been involved in the world of advanced aerial mobility. He started out as co-founder of Germandrones, a German eVTOL drone start-up focused on security and surveying.
After leading the Drone & Urban Air Mobility business at global consulting firm umlaut, now acquired by Accenture, he currently heads the FIA Drone & Vertical Mobility Academy, an organisation that supports more than 250 FIA Member Clubs with 90 million members worldwide.
Having also founded several other companies in sectors outside of advanced air mobility, he combines a diversified technical background with many years of international business experience.
During this episode, we talk about the role of the Drone and Vertical Mobility Academy, its background and also cover some of the projects it is working on. We talk about medical logistics, drone training and education and the importance of social acceptance.
