Jaunt Air Mobility Canada and Global Partner Solutions to establish ‘world class’ supply chain with Quebec-based suppliers

Jaunt Air Mobility Canada has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Global Partner Solutions (GPSI), with both companies looking to create a ‘world-class’ supply chain ecosystem that will contribute to Jaunt’s aircraft, the Jaunt Journey.

In an announcement made at the Paris Air Show today (Wednesday), it says GPSI’s expertise in supply chain management will greatly contribute to Jaunt’s goal of designing, building, flight-testing, certifying, and manufacturing its aircraft.

Robert Hachey, President of GPSI, said: “I’m delighted that Jaunt Air Mobility has teamed up with Global Partner Solutions, giving us the opportunity to be part of a project that is helping to design a new industry that will change the way we travel, and above all make it more sustainable.”

GPSI’s commitment to Jaunt Air Mobility goes beyond its service offering. Over the next three years, the parties expect that, as part of strengthening the partnership, over C$10 million will be invested and spent in establishing, enhancing, and utilizing the supply chain ecosystem to support Jaunt Air Mobility’s growth, and in that process up to 35 jobs will be created.

This investment will not only provide vital operational support for Jaunt Air Mobility and will also make a significant contribution to the Quebec economy.

Éric Côté, President of Jaunt Air Mobility Canada, added: “Quebec is very well positioned to become a leader in the future aviation industry, thanks to the expertise and agility of expert companies like GPSI.”

Jaunt Air Mobility and GPSI share the common goal of fostering innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence in the eVTOL industry.

Through this strategic partnership, Jaunt Air Mobility intends to leverage GPSI’s expertise to optimize its supply chains and program management, to ensure the success of its projects, and to maximize opportunities in the Quebec and Canadian aerospace ecosystem.
