Urban-Air Port joins forces with Hanwha Systems, Korea Airports “to Propel AAM”

UK-based Urban-Air Port has joined forces with Hanwha Systems and Korea Airports after signing a Letter of Intent (LOI) to help “propel Advanced Air Mobility” (AAM) via “deploying an extensive range of technology-driven innovations to empower ultra-efficient, high-throughput vertiport infrastructure solutions”, reports a press release. This strategic partnership with two major companies enhances UAP’s reputation as a global vertiport provider.

This latest alliance further strengthens the South Korean AAM ecosystem, enabling scaling-up of global vertiport technologies and operations.

Andrea Wu, CEO of Urban-Air Port, commented, “Each are industry leaders. This strong partnership brings together an extensive portfolio of innovation, experience and expertise.”

Hyeong-Jung Yoon, CEO of Korea Airports, remarked, “I believe the strategic partnership with UAP is the first step in gaining recognition for Korea Airports technology and expertise in the global market. We will continuously strive to enhance the competitiveness of Korea’s UAM-related technology by expanding our overseas collaborations.” Sung-Chul Eoh, CEO of Hanwha Systems, added, “We expect to create various business opportunities through the collaboration with UAP.”

Urban-Air Port already has a prestigious partnership with Hyundai-backed Supernal.
