PODCAST: Hubert Skoneczny of CPK Poland discusses company’s vision for integrating vertiports into country’s transportation network
Our next podcast is now live! This time, we were delighted to welcome Hubert Skoneczny, who is Senior Project Manager, Innovation & Complementary Projects Department at CPK Poland.
CPK is a state-owned company in Poland which is currently responsible for the undertaking of Innovative Aerial Services (IAS) in CPK, which consists of Innovative Aerial Mobility (IAM) concept development and effective utilisation of drones in planned construction process that support, among others, BIM, GIS and Digital Twin.
Before CPK, Hubert was managing Research and Development projects regarding Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and remote sensing at the Łukasiewicz Research Network — one of the largest research networks in Europe.
In our conversation, we go into detail about the CPK Program and its vision for Poland over the next five to 10 years. Hubert also tells us more about the current transportation system in the country and how Advanced Air Mobility will allow residents to travel more easily. He shares his thoughts on what the vertiport concept at CPK will look like, and provides us with a timeline of work scheduled.
