PODCAST: Hubert Skoneczny of CPK Poland discusses company’s vision for integrating vertiports into country’s transportation network

Our next pod­cast is now live! This time, we were delight­ed to wel­come Hubert Skoneczny, who is Senior Project Man­ag­er, Inno­va­tion & Com­ple­men­tary Projects Depart­ment at CPK Poland.

CPK is a state-owned com­pa­ny in Poland which is cur­rent­ly respon­si­ble for the under­tak­ing of Inno­v­a­tive Aer­i­al Ser­vices (IAS) in CPK, which con­sists of Inno­v­a­tive Aer­i­al Mobil­i­ty (IAM) con­cept devel­op­ment and effec­tive util­i­sa­tion of drones in planned con­struc­tion process that sup­port, among oth­ers, BIM, GIS and Dig­i­tal Twin.

Before CPK, Hubert was man­ag­ing Research and Devel­op­ment projects regard­ing Unmanned Aer­i­al Sys­tems (UAS) and remote sens­ing at the Łukasiewicz Research Net­work — one of the largest research net­works in Europe.

In our con­ver­sa­tion, we go into detail about the CPK Pro­gram and its vision for Poland over the next five to 10 years. Hubert also tells us more about the cur­rent trans­porta­tion sys­tem in the coun­try and how Advanced Air Mobil­i­ty will allow res­i­dents to trav­el more eas­i­ly. He shares his thoughts on what the ver­ti­port con­cept at CPK will look like, and pro­vides us with a time­line of work sched­uled.
