Our next pod­cast is live! We were delight­ed to be joined by Dr. Yemaya Bor­dain, Pres­i­dent of Amer­i­c­as at Daedalean.

Dr. Bor­dain launched the US pres­ence of Daedalean AI, which is cre­at­ing a future ‘keep­ing up with the Jet­sons’, with AI-pow­ered flight con­trol soft­ware to enable autonomous­ly fly­ing air­craft.

She over­sees a port­fo­lio includ­ing the company’s glob­al efforts in inno­va­tion, busi­ness devel­op­ment, prod­uct man­age­ment, mar­ket­ing, com­mu­ni­ca­tions, flight test­ing, and part­ner­ships.

In our episode, she talks broad­ly about the future of Advanced Air Mobil­i­ty on a soci­etal lev­el, as well as the intri­cate details of the avion­ics, hard­ware and soft­ware that will make it all pos­si­ble. She explains Daedalean’s ‘why’ in terms of the impact it can have on build­ing and main­tain­ing human con­nec­tion in a rapid­ly decen­tral­is­ing world and goes into more detail about auton­o­my of eVTOL air­craft.
