N2 Infrastructure Technologies to purchase four Moya eVTOL
eVTOL maker Moya Aero and N2 Infrastructure Technologies have announced a strategic partnership to develop logistical operations with high-capacity remotely piloted aircraft with the purchase of four Moya eVTOL.
The Moya eVTOL is an autonomous all-electric cargo drone with a payload capacity of 200 kg and a range of 110 km, which allows the cargo drone to operate with zero emissions.
Based in Canada, N2 Infrastructure is a new start-up that operates in the air cargo industry as a logistics and transportation company with the mission to revolutionise the transport and logistic sector using eVTOL drones. Providing EMS (Emergency medical services) is crucial to the mission.
“The Moya eVTOL proved to be the ideal specification for our mission in remote regions,” said Raheel Kamal, co-founder of N2.
Moya co-founder Renata Paolillo added: “We see a great synergy between Moya Aero and N2. We are both working to make logistics simpler and more sustainable.”
Moya eVTOL will enter into service in 2026. Moya Aero, founded in 2020 by Alexandre Zaramela and Renata Paolillo, is a spin-off of ACS Aviation, Brazil’s leading aeronautical engineering, research, and aircraft development entity in the heart of Latin America’s industrial corridor, São José dos Campos.
The Moya eVTOL is claimed to be the first high-capacity, all-electric autonomous vehicle built in the Southern Hemisphere. The company draws on that knowledge to capitalise on market opportunities like reducing CO₂ emissions to zero, connecting remote regions with vital supplies, improving the efficiency, productivity, and cost of crop management, and connecting business with customers faster, cheaper, and simpler.
In June, Moya Aero performed its first flight during the springtime in the Southern Hemisphere with an almost full-scale vehicle with a wingspan of 5.5 metres. In the meantime, it is improving its facilities at the testing area of Airfield SDA4 Fazenda Maristela.
