eVTOL Insights’ first ‘Behind Closed Doors’ event before Dubai Airshow kicks off exciting week for Advanced Air Mobility market

More than 60 indus­try exec­u­tives and some of the top edi­tors and jour­nal­ists cov­er­ing the avi­a­tion mar­ket attend­ed eVTOL Insights’ inau­gur­al ‘Behind Closed Doors’ event before the Dubai Air­show yes­ter­day (Sun­day).

The exclu­sive net­work­ing event act­ed as a cur­tain rais­er to the 18th edi­tion of the Dubai Air­show, which has been described as the biggest one to-date and will fea­ture more than 1,400 exhibitors from 95 dif­fer­ent coun­tries.

eVTOL OEMs such as Lil­i­um, Ascen­dance Flight Tech­nolo­gies, Aerovec­to, Crisalion Mobil­i­ty and ZURI joined Rolls-Royce Elec­tri­cal, FreeFlight Sys­tems, Cana­di­an Advanced Air Mobil­i­ty Con­sor­tium (CAAM), Sau­di Tech­nic, Hon­ey­well, Cross Chan­nel and Air Cana­da for an after­noon of net­work­ing in the won­der­ful set­ting of the W Dubai — The Palm.

They were then joined by reporters from the likes of Bloomberg, AIN, Flight­Glob­al, Avi­a­tion Week, Aero­Time, Avways, Avbuy­er and The Roy­al Aero­nau­ti­cal Soci­ety for the lat­er part of the event, where they could con­tin­ue net­work­ing before the busy air­show sched­ule start­ed the next day.

Jason Pritchard, Exec­u­tive Edi­tor at eVTOL Insights, said: “Our first Behind Closed Doors event could not have gone any bet­ter.

“We cre­at­ed these events so com­pa­nies could net­work in a pri­vate set­ting away from the hec­tic air­show sched­ule and ini­tial feed­back so far has been very good. We’re look­ing for­ward to host­ing sim­i­lar events at next year’s air­shows in Sin­ga­pore and Farn­bor­ough and would love hear from any com­pa­ny inter­est­ed in being involved.”

eVTOL Insights will host a ‘Behind Closed Doors’ event in Sin­ga­pore on Mon­day, Feb­ru­ary 19th, with a sim­i­lar event in Farn­bor­ough hap­pen­ing on Sun­day, July 21st.
