Volatus Infrastructure & Energy Solutions, eVertiSKY Partner at The 2024 UAM Living Lab

Vola­tus Infra­struc­ture & Ener­gy Solu­tions (VI&E) has signed “a strate­gic agree­ment” with eVer­tiSKY which out­lines a num­ber of joint urban air mobil­i­ty (UAM) projects includ­ing col­lab­o­rat­ing at the 2024 UAM Liv­ing Lab, reports a press release. 

The two com­pa­nies will also work to advance Soft­ware Defined Air­space (SDA) adop­tion that cap­tures and dis­sem­i­nates UAM traf­fic data with­in the Com­mer­cial Low Alti­tude Air­space (CLLA).

The release explains, “Chica­go-based eVer­tiSKY, is a sin­gle-source provider of advanced ground space and air­space infra­struc­ture for UAM in the com­mer­cial low alti­tude air­space. It plays a piv­otal role in design­ing Ver­ti­ports and air­space infra­struc­ture, cru­cial to the UAM industry’s evo­lu­tion.” 

It con­tin­ues, “The company’s projects serve as a net­work cor­ner­stone for inter­con­nect­ed UAM oper­a­tions, pro­mot­ing broad­er pub­lic access to ancil­lary invest­ments based on its Ver­ti­port as Anchor core vision. With a NASA com­mer­cial license for UTM co-devel­op­ment, eVer­tiSKY is also the inven­tor of the Soft­ware Defined Air­space plat­form, a UAM traf­fic solu­tion aligned with planned ATM, Remote ID, and reg­u­lat­ed conOps.”

Found­ed in 2021, VI&E is con­nect­ing com­mu­ni­ties with eVTOL infra­struc­ture tech­nol­o­gy and offers three mod­u­lar ver­ti­port designs and charg­ing sta­tions for elec­tric vehi­cles across all medi­ums: Air, Land, and Sea.
