Vertiport Simulations signals intent to partner with Advanced Air Mobility operators as it test-drives vertiport designs in the UAE

Orlan­do-based Ver­ti­port Sim­u­la­tions is look­ing to part­ner with advanced air mobil­i­ty air­craft man­u­fac­tur­ers which have an inter­est in plac­ing their air­craft designs in Microsoft flight Sim­u­la­tor 2020 and 2024 .

In a press release which was dis­trib­uted ear­li­er this week, the com­pa­ny describes itself as ‘a Microsoft Flight sim­u­la­tion-based, ver­ti­port design firm’.

As Volo­copter’s Voloc­i­ty and the Jet­son One are the only eVTOL air­craft cur­rent­ly avail­able on Microsoft Flight Sim­u­la­tor, Ver­ti­port Sim­u­la­tions is look­ing to increase the num­ber of air­craft avail­able to play­ers with­in the game.

The press release added: “Our ultra real­is­tic ver­ti­port designs and video pre­sen­ta­tions offer clients sev­er­al ben­e­fits as opposed to tra­di­tion­al archi­tec­tur­al draw­ings. 

“Name­ly, we can design and turn around changes faster, pro­vide designs more afford­ably and place our client in a VR envi­ron­ment, which allows them thru the use of a Microsoft Xbox con­troller, the abil­i­ty to fly into and around their con­cep­tu­al ver­ti­port, well before real-world ground­break­ing occurs, any­where on earth.
