Middle East: “Exciting AAM-Related Airshow Events Approaching, Abu Dhabi Expo a Highlight”

Advanced Air Mobil­i­ty news is all qui­et on the Mid­dle-East­ern front, at present, but between Sep­tem­ber and Novem­ber this all changes.

It begins with the Egypt Inter­na­tion­al Air­show (Sep­tem­ber 3rd-5th); fol­lowed by the Mar­rakech event in Moroc­co (Octo­ber 30th-Novem­ber 2nd); Bahrain Air­show (Novem­ber 13th-15th); and then per­haps, the high­light, UAE’s Abu Dhabi Air Expo from Novem­ber 19th to 21st. 

Plen­ty of AAM-relat­ed news may fol­low each event, whether it is about eVTOL pur­chase orders; Mem­o­ran­dums of Under­stand­ing or Let­ters of Intent between dif­fer­ent com­pa­nies; col­lab­o­ra­tions; and finan­cial invest­ments. 

The event that stands out is the Abu Dhabi Air Expo to be held at the city’s Nation­al Exhi­bi­tion Cen­tre (ADNEC) in Novem­ber. There will be a major focus on eVTOLs with the Advanced Air Mobil­i­ty (AAM) Pavil­ion being spe­cial­ly con­struct­ed to high­light the lat­est avi­a­tion tech­no­log­i­cal advance­ments from this sec­tor. 

Indus­try lead­ers, investors and inno­va­tors will con­verge to explore how cut­ting-edge tech­nolo­gies can trans­form urban trans­porta­tion, reduce con­ges­tion, and pro­vide sus­tain­able, effi­cient alter­na­tives to tra­di­tion­al trav­el.

A major­i­ty of the world’s lead­ing eVTOL com­pa­nies will be in atten­dance as well as car­go and deliv­ery drone busi­ness­es along­side lead­ers in the all-impor­tant ver­ti­port infra­struc­ture side.

There will be an empha­sis on pre­sen­ta­tions and pan­el dis­cus­sions address­ing reg­u­la­to­ry frame­works, infra­struc­ture readi­ness, advance­ments in urban air traf­fic man­age­ment and future mar­ket pro­jec­tions.

Yousef Al Gha­reeb, Founder and CEO of the pro­mo­tion com­pa­ny, Ele­vate Events, who is organ­is­ing the Show, com­ment­ed, “The Advanced Air Mobil­i­ty Pavil­ion at the Air Expo rep­re­sents a vision of the future of trans­porta­tion, one where inno­v­a­tive air mobil­i­ty solu­tions will trans­form how we move and con­nect.”
