“AAM Institute Announces Successful Conclusion of Two Day GAAMF Event”
The Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Institute announced this week that its two day Global Advanced Air Mobility Forum (GAAMF), held on July 29th and 30th, was a great success, reports a press release.
It attracted over 350 registered participants, featured over 50 speakers, and saw representation from 45 countries. This proved to be one of the largest virtual AAM Conferences to date.
Amin Vadafar, Institute Executive Assistant, commented, “The insights shared and the collaboration forged here will undoubtedly accelerate the integration of innovative AAM solutions into our cities, enhancing connectivity, sustainability and economic growth.”
He continued, “Guided by our vision to educate and advocate for the broadest public benefit through the aviation ecosystem globally, our commitment to advancing this dynamic sector remains unwavering.”
GAAMF is held twice a year, each winter and summer, serving as a vital platform for industry leaders, innovators and enthusiasts to discuss and share advancements from every facet of the global AAM ecosystem.
Following each forum session, a Summary Report is compiled, featuring a comprehensive summary from all represented countries and key findings from their presentations. These reports serve as a crucial opportunity for sharing best practices throughout the AAM industry.
Dan Sloat
Institute Founder and President, Dan Sloat, remarked, “The event has been a tremendous success and we are thrilled with the level of engagement and collaboration among participants. The future of air mobility is bright and we are proud to be at the forefront of driving innovation and progress in this exciting industry.”
Meanwhile, the Institute publishes special reports throughout the year. In April, First Responders who use Unmanned Aerial Systems during public safety work were highlighted, while this November, military veterans are to be recognised who are driving innovation in AAM technologies.
The AAM Institute is a nonprofit research centre that, ultimately, is committed to protecting people, their rights and the systems relied upon, as well as to accelerate access to such technologies in an ethical and responsible manner.
