EHang, KC Smart, Cyberport Collaborate “to Revolutionise UAM in Hong Kong”

EHang has just released news that the Chi­na-based UAV com­pa­ny is col­lab­o­rat­ing with KC Smart and Cyber­port “to rev­o­lu­tionise Urban Air Mobil­i­ty (UAM) in Hong Kong”, reports a Linkedin post.

The release explains, “This col­lab­o­ra­tion aims to intro­duce pilot­less eVTOL air­craft into the skies, trans­form­ing pas­sen­ger and logis­tics trans­porta­tion in the Greater Bay Area.”

Then fol­lows a series of bul­let points.

: EHang brings cut­ting-edge autonomous air mobil­i­ty tech­nol­o­gy with its EH216‑S eVTOL, offer­ing safe, eco-friend­ly, and effi­cient trans­port solu­tions.

: Kwoon Chung Smart Mobil­i­ty con­tributes its exper­tise in smart logis­tics and pub­lic trans­port oper­a­tions, ensur­ing seam­less inte­gra­tion into Hong Kong’s infra­struc­ture.

: Cyber­port pro­vides state-of-the-art facil­i­ties and dig­i­tal infra­struc­ture, hav­ing been appoint­ed by the HKSAR Gov­ern­ment as the venue part­ner for the low-alti­tude econ­o­my ‘reg­u­la­to­ry sand­box’ pilot project, sup­port­ing inno­v­a­tive tech­nol­o­gy test­ing and smart city devel­op­ment.
