UrbanLink Air Mobility Collaborates with FEAM Aero “to Advance Maintenance for All-Electric Fleet”

Urban­Link Air Mobil­i­ty, a South Flori­da-based Advanced Air Mobil­i­ty (AAM) oper­a­tor and leader in sus­tain­able trans­porta­tion solu­tions, announced this week a col­lab­o­ra­tion with Mia­mi-based FEAM Aero, a lead­ing provider of air­craft line main­te­nance ser­vices in the U.S, reports a press release. 

This col­lab­o­ra­tion “marks a crit­i­cal step in ensur­ing the safe­ty, effi­cien­cy and readi­ness of UrbanLink’s all-elec­tric fleet, includ­ing its eVTOL air­craft and sea ves­sels, as the com­pa­ny con­tin­ues to rede­fine sus­tain­able region­al trans­porta­tion,” explains the release.

Based in Mia­mi, FEAM Aero has 52 glob­al line sta­tions pri­mar­i­ly in the U.S, U.K and Europe and sup­ports more than 130,000 flights annu­al­ly, ser­vic­ing 70 oper­a­tors, includ­ing major air­lines, car­go car­ri­ers and region­al air­lines. This includes four hangar facil­i­ties of over 300,000 sq. ft of space and employs a grow­ing work­force of more than 1,500 air­craft main­te­nance tech­ni­cians and engi­neers. 

Ed Wegel, Founder and Chair­man of Urban­Link, com­ment­ed, “As we move toward launch­ing the first all-elec­tric AAM fleet in the U.S., FEAM Aero’s exper­tise will be instru­men­tal in reduc­ing down­time and enhanc­ing oper­a­tional effi­cien­cy.”

Since launch­ing last year, Urban­Link has rapid­ly expand­ed its fleet to include eVTOL air­craft from Lil­i­um and CRISALION Mobil­i­ty, the 9‑passenger Evi­a­tion ALICE air­craft and elec­tric sea ves­sels from Regent Craft and Artemis Tech­nolo­gies as well as Tra­verse Aero’s Orca drones.

Urban­Link has also formed part­ner­ships with Fer­rovial Ver­ti­ports and Sky­way Tech­nolo­gies to estab­lish strate­gic ver­ti­ports in key mar­kets and signed an agree­ment with MBA Avi­a­tion for its Jumpseat Safe­ty Man­age­ment Sys­tem (SMS). 

Present­ly focused on ser­vic­ing Miami/South Flori­da, Los Angeles/Southern Cal­i­for­nia, Puer­to Rico and the Caribbean, Urban­Link recent­ly announced its expan­sion to Europe with a focus on the Span­ish and Ital­ian mar­kets via CRISALION Mobility’s ‘Integri­ty’ eVTOL Air­craft.
