Watch Video: “HEXA eVTOL Presents Live Aerial Demonstration in Abu Dhabi”

HEXA, the sporty light-weight pas­sen­ger eVTOL air­craft devel­oped by U.S com­pa­ny, LIFT, pre­sent­ed a live aer­i­al demon­stra­tion in Abu Dhabi to a large enthu­si­as­tic crowd, reports a press release.

The live flight took place dur­ing the 4th ICAO Glob­al Imple­men­ta­tion Sup­port Sym­po­sium 2025 and the Glob­al Sus­tain­able Mar­ket­place, spon­sored by the Smart and Autonomous Sys­tems Coun­cil (SASC), the Gen­er­al Civ­il Avi­a­tion Author­i­ty (GCAA), the Inter­na­tion­al Civ­il Avi­a­tion Orga­ni­za­tion (ICAO), and the Inte­grat­ed Trans­port Cen­tre (Abu Dhabi Mobil­i­ty). The pre­sen­ta­tion was attend­ed by gov­ern­ment min­istries from var­i­ous coun­tries par­tic­i­pat­ing in the Sym­po­sium.

The demon­stra­tion rep­re­sent­ed the Advanced Mobil­i­ty Hub, a mem­ber of Mul­ti Lev­el Group, in part­ner­ship with LIFT Air­craft Mid­dle East. This hub has launched in Abu Dhabi. It is an ini­tia­tive that aims to assem­ble and man­u­fac­ture light sports air­craft in the UAE to the Mid­dle East, mak­ing the region a glob­al attrac­tion for advanced aero­space tech­nol­o­gy.

His Excel­len­cy Badr Al-Ola­ma, Direc­tor Gen­er­al of the Abu Dhabi Invest­ment Office (ADIO), com­ment­ed, “We are pleased to wit­ness the launch of LIFT Mid­dle East, an ini­tia­tive that fur­ther strength­ens the objec­tives of the Smart and Autonomous Vehi­cles Indus­try (SAVI) clus­ter to estab­lish Abu Dhabi as a glob­al hub for smart and autonomous mobil­i­ty solu­tions across air, land and sea.” 

He con­tin­ued, “This devel­op­ment under­scores the for­ward momen­tum of the efforts led by the Smart and Autonomous Sys­tems Coun­cil to solid­i­fy the emirate’s posi­tion as a pio­neer in urban mobil­i­ty and a leader in indus­tries of the future.”

The release explains, “By fos­ter­ing inno­va­tion, attract­ing advanced tech­no­log­i­cal solu­tions, and cre­at­ing an inte­grat­ed air mobil­i­ty ecosys­tem. Advanced­Mo­bil­i­ty Hub (AMH) and Mul­ti Lev­el Group (MLG) are set­ting new indus­try stan­dards and posi­tion­ing Abu Dhabi and the UAE as a leader in the glob­al avi­a­tion indus­try.”

The two par­ties have also unveiled the AeroX Club project, a plat­form that will rede­fine light aer­i­al sports expe­ri­ences in urban areas. This Club project aims to pro­vide access to a new gen­er­a­tion of light sports, paving the way for a new era of per­son­al fly­ing and air sports expe­ri­ences in the Mid­dle East.

The project is being imple­ment­ed with the sup­port of the Smart Autonomous Sys­tems Coun­cil (SASC), with the aim of strength­en­ing Abu Dhabi’s posi­tion as a lead­ing glob­al des­ti­na­tion for the devel­op­ment and use of smart and autonomous sys­tems.

Mohamed Salah, CEO of Mul­ti Lev­el Group (MLG), remarked, “It is more than just deliv­er­ing cut­ting-edge avi­a­tion tech­nol­o­gy; it is a trans­for­ma­tion­al step towards strength­en­ing the posi­tion of Abu Dhabi and the UAE and estab­lish­ing LIFT Mid­dle East as a region­al man­u­fac­tur­ing and local assem­bly cen­tre.”

He added, “The AeroX Light Sport Avi­a­tion Club project will fur­ther enhance this vision, offer­ing avi­a­tion enthu­si­asts a unique expe­ri­ence in the future of avi­a­tion.”

Matt Chasen, CEO of LIFT Air­craft, enthused,“Our expan­sion into the Mid­dle East and Africa region from Abu Dhabi and the UAE through this part­ner­ship marks a mile­stone for the future of light­weight per­son­al air mobil­i­ty.”
