“MOSTAVIO Wins 2025 MUSE Design Gold Award for MX1 eVTOL”

Cana­da-based eVTOL com­pa­ny, MOSTAVIO, has been award­ed the 2025 MUSE Design Gold Award in the cat­e­go­ry of ‘Trans­porta­tion Design – Fly­ing Cars/ Per­son­al Aer­i­al Vehi­cles (PAVs)’ for its flag­ship, the MX1, reports a press release. Last year Piv­otal and its per­son­al fly­ing Helix vehi­cle won a sim­i­lar MUSE award. 

The release states, “MX1 was designed to sim­pli­fy fly­ing for every­day users. It blends advanced autonomous flight sys­tems, immer­sive VR con­trol and bold design lan­guage into a sin­gle-pas­sen­ger expe­ri­ence that reimag­ines per­son­al air trav­el.”

It con­tin­ues, “MX1 reimag­ines the fly­ing experience—offering more than just a nov­el way to trav­el, but a chance to ful­ly immerse your­self in the jour­ney. For instead of wrestling with con­trols, the occu­pant pro­vides high-lev­el com­mands via a VR inter­face, let­ting onboard autonomous sys­tems han­dle the tech­ni­cal demands of flight. The MUSE win high­lights our com­mit­ment to inno­va­tion, sus­tain­abil­i­ty, and acces­si­ble avi­a­tion.”

The eVTOL with its all-elec­tric propul­sion is cre­at­ed from high-strength, light­weight com­pos­ite mate­ri­als. “The cohe­sive body pan­el design melds arms and land­ing gear into a sin­gle, sculpt­ed form, reduc­ing mechan­i­cal com­plex­i­ty and enhanc­ing aero­dy­nam­ics,” says the release. “The VR-dri­ven autonomous inte­ri­or make each jour­ney unfor­get­table, leav­ing a last­ing impres­sion of what per­son­al air trav­el can and should feel like.”

Mean­while, the MUSE Awards which cov­er cre­ativ­i­ty, design, hotel and pho­tog­ra­phy is cel­e­brat­ing its 10th Anniver­sary. The 2025 theme is ‘Cel­e­brat­ing Mile­stones’. This recog­nis­es the col­lec­tive achieve­ments of par­tic­i­pants who have rede­fined cre­ativ­i­ty and trans­formed the indus­try.
