Watch Videos: “HEXA eVTOL Conducts Successful Demonstration at Osaka Expo, Japan” 

U.S‑based LIFT has con­duct­ed this week a suc­cess­ful demon­stra­tion of its HEXA eVTOL at the much antic­i­pat­ed Osa­ka Expo, in Kan­sai, Japan, reports a press release. 

Along­side its part­ner­ship with Marubeni and affil­i­ate Marubeni Aero­space, one of Japan’s largest busi­ness and mul­ti­far­i­ous cor­po­ra­tions, LIFT com­plet­ed the flight of its one-per­son HEXA, above the EXPO Ver­ti­port, a hub with­in the ‘Future Soci­ety Show­case Project’ Exhi­bi­tion.

Mul­ti­ple demon­stra­tion flights are planned in the com­ing months. The Osa­ka event opened a few days ago on April 13th. 

The craft will fly in pat­terns, includ­ing ascend­ing, descend­ing and cir­cling, above the ver­ti­port with­in the venue. Flights are then sched­uled to take place in Mori­nomiya, Osa­ka from July onwards.
