RYSE Aero Technologies Launches Equity Crowdfunding Campaign 

U.S‑based RYSE Aero Tech­nolo­gies, a man­u­fac­tur­er of an ultra­light eVTOL vehi­cle called the RECON, recent­ly announced the com­pa­ny has launched an equi­ty crowd­fund­ing cam­paign via the Toron­to Deal­Mak­er plat­form, reports a press release. What makes this vehi­cle unusu­al is, it can take off and land on water. Oper­at­ing under Part 103 of the FAA reg­u­la­tions, the RECON is designed to make flight acces­si­ble to all and with no pilot license required. 

Mul­ti­ple RECONs have con­duct­ed over 600 flight tri­als with both pilots and non-pilots. The cost of the craft is USD150,000. The RECON attained its maid­en flight in June last year.

Found­ed in 2021 and based in Mason, Ohio, a pri­ma­ry mar­ket RYSE is look­ing to expand in to is agri­cul­ture, in par­tic­u­lar, offer­ing the craft to farm­ers as an alter­na­tive to trac­tors, land rovers and quad bikes. The com­pa­ny has show­cased the RECON at some of the more pres­ti­gious Agri­cul­ture and Farm­ing Trade Shows across the U.S, includ­ing the Farm Progress Show, the Sun­belt Ag Expo and the Farm Sci­ence Review.

In Jan­u­ary 2023, the RECON became the first per­son­al fly­ing vehi­cle to con­duct out­door flight demon­stra­tions at the well-known Con­sumer Elec­tron­ics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Anoth­er mar­ket RYSE is aim­ing at is gen­er­al recre­ation.

To assist in grow­ing and scal­ing up the busi­ness, RYSE are now offer­ing an oppor­tu­ni­ty for the gen­er­al pub­lic to invest in the com­pa­ny. The aim is to raise USD5 mil­lion in com­mon stock. The strate­gic plan encom­pass­es two pri­ma­ry objec­tives:- 

: To estab­lish and opti­mise robust man­u­fac­tur­ing process­es to meet the sales demand.

: To con­tin­u­al­ly enhance the devel­op­ment of the RECON.

As part of the expan­sion plan, RYSE aims to com­mence the hir­ing for the man­u­fac­tur­ing of RECONs start­ing lat­er this year. The move is a cru­cial step towards scal­ing up pro­duc­tion capac­i­ty and ensur­ing that the com­pa­ny can com­pete in the rapid­ly grow­ing eVTOL mar­ket.

Lat­er this month, RYSE will be exhibit­ing and con­duct­ing dai­ly flight demon­stra­tions at the Farm Progress 2023 show, tak­ing place in Decatur, Illi­nois, from August 29th-31st. Dur­ing the event, RYSE will be run­ning a dai­ly raf­fle draw­ing, where one win­ner will get the oppor­tu­ni­ty to pilot the RECON on the final flight of each day. In addi­tion, RYSE will be organ­is­ing exclu­sive after-hours events, specif­i­cal­ly for indi­vid­u­als who have already pur­chased RECONs or placed deposits.
