“AutoFlight CarryAll Achieves All Three Key Flight Approvals”
China-based AutoFlight, an eVTOL aircraft developer and manufacturer, announced this week, its CarryAll V2000CG, an unmanned cargo drone, has now achieved all three key approvals from the CAAC, reports globaltimes.cn.
Approvals include Type Certificate, Production Approval and now the all-important Airworthiness Certificate. The cargo drone is the world’s first over-one-ton in weight eVTOL aircraft. This marks an important breakthrough and a solid step toward the commercialisation and roll-out of large eVTOLs in low-altitude economy operations.
The articles states, “Developed independently by Autoflight, the V2000CG CarryAll is a fully electric, unmanned aircraft with a 2‑ton maximum takeoff weight and a 400-kilogram payload capacity. Capable of reaching cruise speeds up to 200 kilometres per hour and covering a range up to 200 kilometres, the aircraft combines vertical takeoff and landing capabilities with the cruising efficiency of a fixed-wing aircraft.”
It continues, “Its flexible deployment makes it ideal for low-altitude logistics, emergency supply delivery, and disaster response missions.”

AutoFlight’s CarryAll
July has been a busy month for AutoFlight.
: At the 50th Wuhan Crossing the River Festival, the CarryAll participated in a significant milestone for emergency response operations.
With over 2,000 swimmers in the Yangtze River, the aircraft provided aerial protection as part of an innovative ‘water, land and air’ three-dimensional emergency support system, working alongside water police speedboats and medical teams.
The craft offers rapid deployment and quick response to emergency situations including the dropping of life rafts to support up to 20 people; deploying fire extinguisher canisters; or delivering emergency supplies in catastrophic situations.
: The company’s growing strong links with the Middle East was typified by the company hosting a high-level delegation from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for research discussions and technical demonstrations.
The delegation included Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director of the General Civil Aviation Authority of the United Arab Emirates (GCAA), Muhannad Sulaiman Al Naqbi, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Shanghai, and Badr Salim Al Olama, Director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office.
During the visit, the delegation watched a demonstration flight of the CarryAll at AutoFlight’s newly established eVTOL testing facility.
: The company opened a unique eVTOL Exhibition and Experience Centre in Cangnan County, Zhejiang Province. This innovative facility integrates technology displays, interactive experiences and training facilities, while serving as a hub for seminars, lectures and research designed to bring low-altitude services into the public spotlight.
