CIVATAGlobal and Dawn Zoldi of P3 Tech Consulting confirmed as speakers for eVTOL Insights’ next virtual networking event

eVTOL Insights’ next vir­tu­al net­work­ing event will take place on August 27th, and we’re delight­ed to con­firm our two speak­ers will be CIVATA­Glob­al and Dawn Zol­di of P3 Tech Con­sult­ing.

Held on the final Fri­day of each month, they have been a reg­u­lar fea­ture this year for indus­try pro­fes­sion­als to meet up, net­work­ing and talk about some of the issues fac­ing the eVTOL air­craft and urban air mobil­i­ty mar­kets.

It will take place from 4pm to 5.30pm BST and includes two 15-minute pre­sen­ta­tions focus­ing on par­tic­u­lar top­ics, which have includ­ed pub­lic per­cep­tion, eVTOL sup­ply chain, elec­tric avi­a­tion and con­nect­ed insur­ance.

For this lat­est event in August, CIVATA­Glob­al will be talk­ing about the state of pre­pared­ness (or not) of local author­i­ties glob­al­ly in prepar­ing for urban air mobil­i­ty oper­a­tions. This includes their rela­tion­ship with nation­al avi­a­tion safe­ty reg­u­la­tors in deter­min­ing areas of respon­si­bil­i­ty.

Known as the Civic Air Trans­port Asso­ci­a­tion, CIVATA­Glob­al is the glob­al trade asso­ci­a­tion of the advanced air mobil­i­ty sec­tor, bring­ing togeth­er cities and indus­tries into one sin­gle glob­al com­mu­ni­ty.

It is also a forum to share expe­ri­ences, plans, access infor­ma­tion resources and work togeth­er on enabling the suc­cess­ful, prof­itable and envi­ron­men­tal­ly respon­si­ble urban air mobil­i­ty oper­a­tions. This is from small unmanned air sys­tems mis­sions to urban air taxi net­works and inter-city ser­vices.

While Zol­di (Colonel, USAF, Retired) is CEO and Founder of P3 Tech Con­sult­ing. She is an inter­na­tion­al­ly recog­nised expert on unmanned air­craft sys­tem law and pol­i­cy, recip­i­ent of the Woman to Watch in UAS (Lead­er­ship) Award 2019, and recent­ly named one of the Top 62 Women in Avi­a­tion & Aero­space on LinkedIn 2021.

She has also recent­ly announced a new pod­cast, called ‘Dawn of Drones’, which takes place every Wednes­day from 11am ET. Each show will include a 45 minute live and inter­ac­tive dis­cus­sion on emerg­ing tech and asso­ci­at­ed pol­i­cy issues with all-star guests. The show will be pro­duced by Mike Pehel, CEO of MJN Asso­ciates LLC.

Speak­ing about the episode’s for­mat, Zol­di explained: “We will use this pod­cast so that our audi­ence can direct­ly con­nect with the game-chang­ing peo­ple and plat­forms in the advanced air mobil­i­ty, drone and autonomous indus­tries.

“Our line-up includes indus­try experts who will boost your under­stand­ing of the lat­est devel­op­ments impact­ing the indus­try and pro­vide you with infor­ma­tion you and your busi­ness needs to be informed and to suc­ceed.” 

Each month will be ded­i­cat­ed to a spe­cif­ic theme. August’s episode, which fea­tured Luke Fox, CEO of White Fox Defence, focused on ‘High Impact Use Cas­es’.

The remain­ing 2021 themes include Movers and Shak­ers (Sep­tem­ber), Defense (Octo­ber), R&D (Novem­ber) and The Best of 2021 (Decem­ber).

Dur­ing our net­work­ing event, we’ll be dis­cussing how Zol­di has been using her var­i­ous plat­forms to ele­vate the UAS/AAM indus­try, as well as the lat­est use cas­es, issues and devel­op­ments.
