“CycloTech Joins Leading Aviation Innovation Centre at Ludwig Bölkow Campus”
Austrian developer of CycloRotor technology, CycloTech, continues to expand its presence in Germany and has moved into new premises at the Ludwig Bölkow Campus in Taufkirchen near Munich, reports a press release. The company now becomes part of one of Europe’s most significant centres for aerospace innovation.
This move “marks the official launch of operations at the campus and highlights CycloTech’s commitment to actively shaping the future of flight in collaboration with on-site partners,” explains the release. “The Ludwig Bölkow Campus represents a unique synergy of industry, research, education and entrepreneurialism.”
It continues, “Groundbreaking technologies emerge where pioneering spirit meets robust infrastructure. CycloTech is contributing its thrust vectoring technology to an environment that is consistently focused on the industrial realisation of advanced aviation innovations.”
Dr. Marcus Bauer, CEO of CycloTech, commented, “We don’t just want to be present here, we want to co-create, accelerate and prove that radical innovation can emerge at the heart of established structures.”
Thilo Pinar, MD of Ludwig Bölkow Campus, added, “CycloTech represents a new generation of aviation development. The decision to become part of the Campus confirms our role as a home for industrial trailblazers.”
The new site will support the expansion of industrial collaborations, further development of CycloRotor technology, and preparations for upcoming product maturity phases.
A physical presence on campus “provides direct links to established industry players, creates space for joint development projects and lays the foundation for systematically scaling technological solutions,” says the release.
CycloTech’s expansion into Bavaria is part of a long-term strategy. The company’s presence at the Ludwig Bölkow Campus exemplifies its ambition to bring future-oriented technology into application in close collaboration with leading actors in the aviation industry. The combination of deep technological expertise, proximity to industry, and strategic site selection forms the basis for the next stages in the company’s development.
