During last week’s Dubai Airshow, eVTOL Insights’ Executive Editor Jason Pritchard spoke to Christopher Ruud, CEO of DeltaHawk Engines.

He shares why the Middle East region is an opportunity for continued market growth, and goes into detail about the company’s engines and what differentiates them from traditional aircraft variants. Chris also shares the recent milestones and innovations he is proud of and how the certification process is developing with their latest products.

We talk about sustainability and how DeltaHawk fits into the growing interest in hybrid-electric propulsion for eVTOL and regional aircraft. Additionally, Chris talks about how DeltaHawk’s engines could extend range and endurance, how the company is preparing scaling production as well as the business cases he sees as the most promising.
