Embention, Eanan Announce “Strategic Partnership for UAE’s UAV Expansion with Initial Investment of USD5 million”
In an important step for UAE (United Arab Emirates) air mobility growth, Embention, a global leader in avionics and Eanan, a Dubai-based UAM (Urban Air Mobility) company, have signed an MOU agreement, reports a press release. The agreement covers the manufacturing of Embention’s Veronte Autopilot System in Dubai, UAE, with the intention of manufacturing a minimum of 3,000 per year.
Eanan displayed its S‑700, an unmanned UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) with a payload capacity of up to 200 kg. Its ability to transport heavy loads between cities will boost efficiency, while smaller unmanned aerial vehicles are expected to carry smaller packages to customers.
The release explains, “Embention, leaders in autopilots and components for UAV and UAM, contribute to the project with more than 16 years of experience in the autonomous vehicle control. With an outstanding track record in implementing advanced solutions for unmanned aerial systems, Embention has been instrumental in the development of technologies that guarantee the safety and efficiency of aircraft.”

During the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing, Ulrich Weckx, CEO of Eanan Al Samma, commented, ”We value safety above all else and believe that partnering with Embention will allow us to achieve the safety objectives of our aircraft.”
David Benavente, CEO of Embention, added, “This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Embention’s expansion in the Middle East, delivering a flight control system made in the UAE.”
