Embention, Eanan Announce “Strategic Partnership for UAE’s UAV Expansion with Initial Investment of USD5 million”

In an impor­tant step for UAE (Unit­ed Arab Emi­rates) air mobil­i­ty growth, Emben­tion, a glob­al leader in avion­ics and Eanan, a Dubai-based UAM (Urban Air Mobil­i­ty) com­pa­ny, have signed an MOU agree­ment, reports a press release. The agree­ment cov­ers the man­u­fac­tur­ing of Embention’s Veronte Autopi­lot Sys­tem in Dubai, UAE, with the inten­tion of man­u­fac­tur­ing a min­i­mum of 3,000 per year.

Eanan dis­played its S‑700, an unmanned UAV (Unmanned Aer­i­al Vehi­cle) with a pay­load capac­i­ty of up to 200 kg. Its abil­i­ty to trans­port heavy loads between cities will boost effi­cien­cy, while small­er unmanned aer­i­al vehi­cles are expect­ed to car­ry small­er pack­ages to cus­tomers.

The release explains, “Emben­tion, lead­ers in autopi­lots and com­po­nents for UAV and UAM, con­tribute to the project with more than 16 years of expe­ri­ence in the autonomous vehi­cle con­trol. With an out­stand­ing track record in imple­ment­ing advanced solu­tions for unmanned aer­i­al sys­tems, Emben­tion has been instru­men­tal in the devel­op­ment of tech­nolo­gies that guar­an­tee the safe­ty and effi­cien­cy of air­craft.”

Dur­ing the Mem­o­ran­dum of Under­stand­ing (MOU) sign­ing, Ulrich Weckx, CEO of Eanan Al Sam­ma, com­ment­ed, ”We val­ue safe­ty above all else and believe that part­ner­ing with Emben­tion will allow us to achieve the safe­ty objec­tives of our air­craft.”

David Benavente, CEO of Emben­tion, added, “This col­lab­o­ra­tion marks a sig­nif­i­cant mile­stone for Emben­tion’s expan­sion in the Mid­dle East, deliv­er­ing a flight con­trol sys­tem made in the UAE.”
