Farnborough Airshow 2026: “Exhibition Sell-Out Record, Announces New Stand Hall”
Farnborough International Airshow has broken its previous all-time record of selling out of exhibition stands for its 2026 Airshow (July 20th-24th) with nine months still to go, reports a press release. This has required the promoters to add a further hall for additional new exhibitors.
The release explains, “With this brand-new, sixth hall and a boosted chalet offering, the 2026 event will be the largest in the show’s 78-year history.”
It continues, “To date, more than 63 percent of the 2026 event’s exhibitors are from overseas, making it the most international airshow globally, with 22 percent of the booked organisations exhibiting for the first time.”
Gareth Rogers, CEO of Farnborough International, commented, “The expansion of our site and the opening of the new hall mark an exciting new chapter, enabling us to welcome more exhibitors and new sectors, showcase further cutting-edge technologies, and create even greater opportunities for international trade and partnership.”
He continued, “This investment reflects our commitment to keeping Farnborough International at the forefront of the industry and supporting the growth of our primary industries.”

Next July’s event is to host the largest American presence in the show’s history, with the likes of the U.S Pavilion by Kallman Worldwide, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Bell Textron and GE Aerospace, occupying tens of thousands of square metres on the site. United States electric air taxi manufacturer, Archer, is one of the first exhibitors in the new hall.
With 26 already confirmed, the number of international pavilions displaying at the event has also increased, with the likes of India, Australia, Japan, Mexico, Brazil and Switzerland hosting representatives from the global industry.
The Covid Lockdown seems a very distant memory.
The show will see the return of the UK Government Hub, Space Zone, Business Connections Exchange, and award-winning Aerospace Global Forum, as well as the next generation of STEM leaders as part of the Airshow’s Pioneers of Tomorrow, a special day dedicated to inspiring, engaging and recruiting the industry’s future workforce.
The release concludes, “Farnborough remains the most important international platform for the global aerospace, defence and space industries, as well as adjacent sectors.”
