“Joby, Archer Aviation to Report Q3 Results Next Week”
These two eVTOL companies are like vying brothers. One releases a media report of its latest exploits and the other quite often follows suit.
This time around, Joby Aviation is reporting its Q3 financial results, after market close, on Wednesday, November 5th and Archer reciprocates the following day. Both are holding a webcast which investors can download from the respective websites.
At present, it is all eyes on the Middle East. While Archer has some catching up to do, development-wise, the Dubai Airshow (November 17th-21st) could be a major thrust forward for both U.S firms.
Expect plenty of news concerning future Middle East deals, whether it concerns aircraft sales, MOUs, LOIs or definitive collaborations, as the Airshow is highlighting this new aviation sector and placing it centre stage.
As to the results, no fireworks are expected; little actual profit to be reported; just a reassuring nod to investors that there’s plenty of money left in the coffers and its hey-ho upwards and onwards to commercial flights and the potential pot of gold.
Meanwhile, eVTOL investors have experienced an extreme volatile ride of share prices this year, where short term traders have potentially bagged a lot of money. It is possible the Dubai Airshow may be a catalyst for continuing this upward share momentum, based around sentiment and optimism for the industry’s future. It is certainly not based on financial fundamentals!
