Middle East: LuftCar Establishes Dubai Presence as Company Confirms its Commitment to Region

LuftCar has opened a new regional office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, as it becomes one of the latest companies to signal its commitment to the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) ecosystem across the Middle East and North Africa.

With headquarters in Florida and a growing international presence, LuftCar says it brings a suite of proven capabilities in hydrogen-electric VTOL vehicle development, vertiport infrastructure planning and AI-powered airspace optimization tools to the region.

In a press release issued over the weekend, LuftCar’s Dubai office will deliver turnkey solutions for Advanced Air Mobility, including:

  • Strategic planning and AAM readiness consulting
  • Vertiport planning, design and construction
  • Deployment of LuftPAATH, a proprietary AI software platform for vertiport siting, corridor modeling, and mission deployment
  • Hydrogen infrastructure integration and zero-emission operations support

LuftCar’s expansion builds on its successful track record in the UAE, including its strategic partnership with Micromap, one of the region’s leading geospatial and smart infrastructure firms.

Both parties delivered the Dubai Horizon II Air Mobility project for Dubai Municipality, showcasing advanced GIS-based vertiport planning, obstacle mapping, and airspace modeling for urban integration of Advanced Air Mobility.

Santh Sathya, CEO and Inventor of LuftCar, said: “We are excited to work alongside UAE stakeholders to co-develop scalable vertiport infrastructure and lay the foundation for the future of mobility.

As part of its long-term vision, LuftCar aims to manufacture its patented modular air-and-road eVTOL vehicles in the UAE to serve the broader Middle East market.

The company also plans to establish green hydrogen mobility corridors, supported by integrated LuftPads (vertiports with hydrogen refueling capability), contributing to UAE’s Net Zero 2050, Make it in the Emirates, and Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan goals.

LuftCar’s growing global momentum includes:

  • Scaled autonomous prototype development completed
  • Purchase order for 19 vehicles
  • Collaboration with the several state run Department of Transportation entities for vertiport integration
  • ongoing vertiport engagements in the US
  • LOI for air ambulance use

  • Expression of interest from air cargo companies
  • Multiple awards for innovation in cleantech, defense, and mobility

LuftCar is actively engaging with real estate developers, airport operators, and government entities across the UAE to co-develop vertiport infrastructure in mixed-use, logistics, and innovation zones.
