Moya Aero: “200 eVTOL Trial Flights in 2025 and Counting!”
Since early 2025, the Brazil-based Moya Aero, a spin-off of ACS Aviation, an aviation engineering, research and development company located in São José dos Campose, has been flight trialling its eVTOL, achieving close to 200 flights and counting.
These trials have generated extensive real-world data, enabled deep system validation and allowed the company to continue refining the eVTOL aircraft’s flight capabilities.

At present, the Moya team is focusing on validating systems, fine-tuning control strategies, and optimising flight behaviour, providing deeper insights into transitional flight dynamics. Each flight offers valuable data, bringing the team closer to creating a highly reliable and efficient autonomous eVTOL.
Background
Moya Aero was founded in 2020 and is developing the first high-capacity autonomous vehicle built in Latin America. The Moya team’s experience spans a broad spectrum of the aerospace industry.
Investors include Seed4Science, Hards and Techstars alongside the support of FINEP (an organisation of the Brazilian federal government under the Ministry of Science of Technology). Those helping to develop the Moya prototype are Helisul Drones, ProAero and Certifica Drones.
