SkyDrive, JTB Sign Agreement “to Research eVTOL Tourism Services, Revitalise Local Communities”
Japan-based eVTOL company, SkyDrive, announced this week it has signed an agreement with JTB Corp, a provider of Japanese travel services, to revitalise regional tourism by implementing commercial and social uses via the deployment of flying taxis, reports a press release.
The primary focus of this alliance is “to develop a viable business model for eVTOLs, identify regions with high potential for success, and create value-added tourism products,” explains the release. “SkyDrive and JTB aim to offer novel tourism experiences that cater to both domestic travellers and international visitors to Japan, such as sightseeing and general tour flying itineraries.”

The aim is to invigorate local economies and enhance the vibrancy of communities in collaboration with enterprises and governments.
