Skyports, Corporación América Airports Sign Agreement to Develop Vertiports in Latin America

Skyports Infrastructure and Corporación América Airports S.A (CAAP) announced this week they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to plan the development and deployment of vertiport infrastructure for eVTOL operations in Latin America, reports a press release. The partnership involves developing networks and operations “for relevant use cases and detailed planning for the deployment of permanent vertiport infrastructure.” The companies will evaluate which CAAP assets are best suited for vertiport deployment, prioritising sites based on market readiness and opportunity. Locations will be confirmed at a later stage.

The collaboration between the two companies is an important step in the growth of Advanced Air Mobility in Latin America .
