Bumper schedule planned for FIA Connect 2020 and Global Urban Air Summit (GUAS) 2.0

More than 140 guest speak­ers from com­pa­nies across the glob­al aero­space sup­ply chain have been con­firmed for next week’s Farn­bor­ough Inter­na­tion­al Air­show (FIA) Con­nect 2020.

Organ­ised by FINN — The Avi­a­tion Indus­try Hub, the five-day event from 20th — 24 July will be a vir­tu­al pro­gramme of free-to-attend con­fer­ences, net­work­ing, and pro­mo­tion­al oppor­tu­ni­ties.

Day one will include top­ics such as ‘Sus­tain­abil­i­ty: A future of clean skies, finan­cial and human sta­bil­i­ty’ — which fea­tures Sec­re­tary of State for Trans­port, Grant Shapps MP — ‘Com­mer­cial Avi­a­tion Relaunch & Recov­ery 2021 & Beyond’ and Ele­vat­ed Mobil­i­ty: Get­ting from demo to do! — in asso­ci­a­tion with Deloitte.

And fol­low­ing its suc­cess­ful debut in Sep­tem­ber 2019, the Glob­al Urban Air Sum­mit (GUAS) 2.0 will launch on Thurs­day. Sup­port­ed by Oliv­er Wyman, this event will hear from OEMs, reg­u­la­tors, gov­ern­ment, trade asso­ci­a­tions and indus­try sup­port groups — as part of a new, inter­ac­tive pro­gramme which fea­tures the very lat­est indus­try devel­op­ments, insights and issues.

Com­pa­nies speak­ing include Boe­ing NeXt, Civ­il Avi­a­tion Author­i­ty (CAA), EHang, EmbraerX, Fed­er­al Avi­a­tion Admin­is­tra­tion (FAA), Future Flight, Lil­i­um, Rolls-Royce, Uber, Ver­ti­cal Aero­space and Volo­copter,
