EVER Monaco opens up to all forms of sustainable mobility with upcoming event next month
The 18th edition of EVER Monaco is opening up to clean air mobility and will be held on 11–12 May 2023 at the Espace Fontvieille. Since 2006, the date of its first edition, the future possibilities explored have turned into reality. The exhibition is opening up to air mobility at a time when the first prototypes for a flying car and electric helicopter are ready.
Bernard Fautrier, president of EVER Monaco, said: “After looking at all the forms of travel on land and water, it makes sense that we also focus on what is set to happen in the air.
“The urgent need to decarbonise our economy is now possible across all sectors, and we would like to support the highest-emitting sectors in their efforts to reduce their environmental footprint by fostering synergy and awareness.”
Since the beginning, EVER Monaco has been supported by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, which is devoted to environmental protection and sustainable development. The Foundation is keen ‘to protect and advance planetary health’ by supporting over 750 projects worldwide.
The Société Monégasque de l’Électricité et du Gaz (SMEG), the Principality’s incumbent energy company, is also active in France with the supply, installation and exploitation of high- power recharging stations for electric vehicles.
Swedish manufacturer Volvo Trucks France will be a partner of EVER Monaco for the second year running, with a presentation of 100% electric models, but also its Iron Women programme, dedicated to promoting careers in the road haulage industry to women.
Volvo Construction Equipment, a subsidiary of the AB Volvo Group manufactures construction machinery sold in over two hundred countries. Zero emission Construction and low-noise and energy-efficient tools are particularly sought after. For this 2023 edition, the organising committee of EVER Monaco has chosen as venue the Espace Fontvieille for the third year running.
Inside and around the Marquee, the iconic location of the Monaco International Circus Festival, the exhibition will be completely redesigned to accommodate the largest electric vehicles alongside the Ride & Drive area, the starting point for all test drives.
