eVTOL Insights’ free virtual networking events to restart with Iris Automation and Dig.y.SoL

eVTOL Insights is pleased to announce it is resum­ing its pop­u­lar vir­tu­al net­work­ing events next week, with the next one sched­uled for Thurs­day, May 26th from 4pm‑5.30pm BST.

The event series was tem­porar­i­ly put on hold while we organ­ised last mon­th’s Lon­don con­fer­ence, and for this month only, it will be held dur­ing the time of our Club­house ses­sion. The for­mat will con­sist of 30 min­utes net­work­ing, with two indus­try pre­sen­ta­tions in the mid­dle and a final 30 min­utes of net­work­ing to fin­ish.

This mon­th’s guest speak­ers will be Jon Damush, CEO of Iris Automa­tion and Tom Fre­und, Own­er of Dig.y.SoL — a start­up devel­op­ing a prod­uct which is address­ing the need for pre­ven­tion and con­tin­u­al over­sight of on-board equip­ment to assure the high­est lev­el of safe­ty for the advanced air mobil­i­ty mar­ket. 

Jon brings over 30 years of exten­sive avi­a­tion tech­nol­o­gy expe­ri­ence and exec­u­tive lead­er­ship, build­ing upon his tech­ni­cal back­ground in engi­neer­ing, soft­ware devel­op­ment and sys­tems inte­gra­tion. Most recent­ly he led new busi­ness ven­tures at Boe­ing NeXT.

Before that he was Chief Growth Offi­cer at Insi­tu, Inc., a Boe­ing sub­sidiary, devel­op­ing nov­el air­craft and UAS inno­va­tion includ­ing detect-and-avoid. He was also a Boe­ing exec­u­tive liai­son and board observ­er to Sky­Grid, LLC, a joint ven­ture between Boe­ing and SparkCog­ni­tion.

Pre­vi­ous com­pa­nies which have joined as speak­ers have includ­ed OneSky, Orca Aero­space, UAVOS, Flight Crowd, Varon Vehi­cles, Rolls-Royce, Air­borne, US Air Force, as well as indus­try experts such as Dar­rell Swan­son and Dawn Zol­di.
