One week to go: Final agenda published for eVTOL Insights’ Europe Conference in Toulouse
With just one week to go until eVTOL Insights’ Europe Conference in Toulouse, the final agenda is now available, bringing together speakers from across Advanced Air Mobility for discussions on certification, commercialisation, infrastructure and the future of flight.
Taking place from October 14th to 16th, the event combines a full-day conference with networking opportunities and industry visits. The main conference will be held on Thursday, October 15 at L’Envol des Pionniers, with contributions from organisations including EASA, BETA Technologies, Eve Air Mobility, Vertical Aerospace, Wisk, NATS and the UK Civil Aviation Authority.
Following an opening address from Constant Augustin of Invest – Team Toulouse, EASA’s Oswaldo Lopez Blas will take part in a fireside chat entitled ‘From Certification to First Operations: The EASA Perspective’. The session will set the scene for a day examining the practical steps required to bring Advanced Air Mobility into service.
A panel featuring Vertical Aerospace, LODD Autonomous, Skyfly Technologies and Schneider Electric will then consider hybrid-electric and all-electric aircraft, focusing on range extension and payload economics. Eve Air Mobility’s Juliana Rodrigues will follow with a fireside chat exploring the company’s path from prototype to passenger services.
Infrastructure and operational readiness will also feature prominently. EA Maven will discuss investment forecasts and infrastructure requirements, while Unified Aviation CEO Mark Trotter will explore the transition from helipads to vertiports. BETA Technologies’ Charge Operations Lead, Chad Nichols, and H3 Dynamics’ Commercial Director, Karim Benizeri, will also contribute to the morning programme.
A Viasat-led discussion, ‘Scaling the Unknown: Building AAM Operations Without a Playbook’, will bring together representatives from Viasat, Gotonomi and Galaxy 1 to examine the challenges of developing a new operating environment.
The afternoon will open with NATS’ Andrew Sage presenting ‘London 2028 – a Network Perspective’, followed by an airspace integration panel featuring TompAero, the UK CAA, Avtrain and EASA. Further contributions from Embention and CAE will explore technology and the conditions needed to support scale.
The final conference session will examine public-mission applications and the future of European regional aviation, with contributions from the Advanced Air Mobility Institute, LYTE Aviation, MD Aircraft and VINI flyvbird.
Wisk’s Michael Johnson will then address safety and scalability in autonomous aviation before a closing panel asks: ‘The AAM Ecosystem: Are We Ready to Operate at Scale?’ Representatives from CAE, Eve Air Mobility, Trimble and Altidium will bring the day’s discussions together.
Beyond the conference, the wider programme includes a Musée Aeroscopia tour and networking on October 14th, plus a planned visit to Ascendance’s Flight Test Facility on October 16th. Attendance to the Ascendance visit is subject to the company’s approval.
With only one week remaining, now is the time to secure your place and join the conversation in Toulouse. Tickets will remain on sale until the day of the conference (October 15th) and are priced at £700.
